About
Hello there! I'm Jason, a software engineer who's primarily focused on backend code and infrastructure. I've been writing code since 1995, professionally since 2005. My career has mostly been around Ruby, Elixir, and Kubernetes. I've also maintained a small consultancy, Catamorphic Labs , since 2010 which I credit with helping me work directly with stakeholders and learn more quickly and deeply than I might otherwise have.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, woodworking, photography, reading, video games, and dabbling in electronics. I'm always learning something. Lately it's been AI architecture but I also have a 2000+ day streak in Duolingo (French).
If you have something you would like help building, Catamorphic Labs is the place to start.
